PRAMAC was founded by the integration of several market realities in the sectors of materials handling, electric generator production and components for photovoltaic plants.
Our history starts in 1966, when the Campinoti family founded L'Europea, a building materials company for the local market. From then onwards PRAMAC not only gained great experience but also constructed a vast and versatile product range to satisfy the needs of its customers in the entire world.
1966
Mario Campinoti and Spartaco Benini founded L'Europea S.r.l.
1970
L'Europea S.r.l. was transformed into L'Europea S.p.A.
1988
L'Europea S.p.A. acquired Lifter S.r.l.
1994
L'Europea and Lifter were merged into PRAMAC Industriale S.p.A.
2000
PRAMAC Industriale S.p.A. acquired Laser.
2001
PRAMAC Industriale S.p.A. was transformed into PRAMAC Lifter S.p.A.
PRAMAC Lifter acquired GMI.
2005
PRAMAC takes over the production of Atlas Copco stationary generators.
2006
PRAMAC LIFTER S.p.A. becomes PRAMAC S.p.A.
PRAMAC LAB was founded.
2007
PRAMAC S.p.A is quoted on the stock exchange.
PRAMAC S.p.A opens to the renewable energy market by constituting Pramac Swiss S.A., dedicated to the production of panels and components for photovoltaic systems.
2008
PRAMAC S.p.A. affirms its dedication to the renewable energy sector by creating two new companies: Proit and Solar Express.
PRAMAC S.p.A, with the aim to gather the strategic and operational opportunity in the logistics handling market, constitutes Lifter S.r.l., a company completely dedicated to development of the Handling Systems division.
