The Mugello Circuit, in collaboration with the Pramac Racing Team, is choosing the path of renewable energy.

A 252 kWp photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof of the Ferrari-owned venue’s main grandstand. Carried out by Energy Resources SpA, the project ensures an annual production of approximately 300,000 kWh, equivalent to 20% of the circuit’s overall requirements. The installation used 2,016 Pramac photovoltaic modules (MCPH P7), along with Power One 100 and 165 kWp inverters. Eighteen rows of 125 kWp framed thin-film modules have been mounted on the 2,911 square-metre grandstand, for a total of 2,016 panels. Through this project, the racetrack will reduce its CO2 emissions by 211 tons per year.

With this investment, we continue a journey embarked upon some time ago that has led us to certification of conformity to the ISO 14001:2004 law.”
